Are You Struggling with Neck, Shoulder, or Lower Back Pain?
If you’ve been dealing with persistent pain or discomfort in your neck, shoulders, or lower back, or if you experience symptoms like sciatica or arm pain, I offer a specialised approach that could make a real difference.
As a Sports Massage Therapist with advanced training through the Barral Institute, I use a gentle, hands-on technique called Neural Manipulation. While the name might sound technical, the concept is simple: sometimes nerves in the body get stuck or compressed due to tension in the surrounding muscles, tissues, or even joints. When this happens, it can lead to pain, tightness, numbness, or reduced movement.
Here’s how it works:
Nerves are meant to glide smoothly through the body. But if they get “stuck” — maybe in a tight muscle or connective tissue — they can’t move freely. This restriction can cause pain, inflammation, or even interfere with how muscles and organs function.
Using light, targeted touch, I help release these restrictions so the nerves can move the way they’re supposed to. This helps the body relax, improves mobility, and supports healing, often easing symptoms like:
This approach is different from traditional massage or stretching. It’s more precise, focusing on where the nerve is being held or compressed and working gently to free it.
If you're tired of just managing symptoms and are ready to address the deeper cause of your pain, Neural Manipulation may be the missing link in your recovery.
This technique is used to help reduce stiffness and improve your flexibility. It can be used in combination with massage. The benefits include: improved joint mobility, improved local circulation, improved musculoskeletar function and strengthens weak muscles.
Lymphatic drainage massage relieves swelling that happens when your lymphatic system is blocked from illness or injury. The benefits include: reduction in water retention, reduction in cellulite, injury recovery, helps the skin heal quicker from wounds, reduces bruising, improves blood and oxygen circulation.
